Who we are

Kate Rosamond Bridal is a bespoke bridalwear studio based at Oak Chambers, 34 Watling Street, Radlett, Hertfordshire WD7 7NN. We are the data controller for the information described on this page. What we collect

When you send an enquiry through this website we collect your name, email address, wedding date, how you heard about us, and whatever you choose to tell us about your dress. If you go on to contact us by email, phone or Instagram, we hold that correspondence too.

If you commission a dress, we also keep the practical records the work requires: your measurements, appointment notes, design sketches, and invoicing details.

Separately, and only with your permission, we collect anonymous statistics about how the website is used.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation. Without your name and email we cannot get back to you.
• To design and make your dress, if you commission one, and to invoice you for it. This is necessary to fulfil our contract with you.
• To understand which pages lead to enquiries, so the website can be improved. This happens only if you accept analytics cookies.

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or rent your information to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, and Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used: which links are clicked and how far down a page people scroll. Neither is set until you accept it in the cookie banner, and declining changes nothing about how the site works for you. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Clarity records your interactions with the pages you visit, not the content of anything you type. Form fields, including the enquiry form, are masked before the recording leaves your browser.

Who else sees your information

Only Kate and the studio see your enquiry. A small number of services hold data on our behalf: Netlify hosts the website and stores form submissions, Google provides our email and, with your consent, our analytics, and Microsoft provides Clarity, our usage analytics, again only with your consent. Each is bound to process the data only on our instructions.

We will disclose information beyond this only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to a commission are deleted after twelve months.
• Records relating to a commission are kept for six years after the final invoice, as UK tax rules require.
• Analytics data is retained by Google for fourteen months, and by Microsoft Clarity for thirty days.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we are using it, or ask us to restrict its use. Where you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Email katerosamondbridal@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and revise the date above.
