PRICING & PAYMENT

Every dress we make is unique and so the price of creating your dream dress is unique too. Dresses start at £2000 including VAT, and change depending on fabric, embellishments and the techniques needed to achieve your chosen design.

If you have inspiration images or thoughts about your dress, we would be happy to give you a free estimation based on your ideas.

After a complimentary consultation, if you decide to proceed with the process we will ask for a £100 deposit to secure our services.

Once a final price has been agreed, we will ask for 50% of the costs to be paid so that work can begin on creating the dress. The remaining 50% is due before your final dress fitting.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT STYLE I WANT
No problem, that is what we are here for! If you have absolutely no idea what styles you love or what suits your figure, then we will work together to discover this. Putting together a mood board of dresses you like the look of (even if you aren't sure they will suit you!) and clothes from your personal wardrobe that you love to wear, gives us a good starting point. From here we can arrange an extra consultation where we can spend time with fabrics in the studio and play around with silhouettes on your body to discover shapes that work for you. If you feel completely clueless then please don't worry. We will just allow a little more time working together in order to help you decide your direction.

I LIVE TOO FAR AWAY BUT WOULD LOVE A KATE ROSAMOND GOWN

Kate is always more than happy to travel to clients homes within the UK, however this will incur travel & time costs that can be calculated once a location has been agreed upon.

I LIVE ABROAD, CAN YOU STILL MAKE ME A BESPOKE GOWN?

Absolutely! We can work together via video chats to take accurate measurements and show the dress in progress in the studio. Once the dress is created it can be shipped to you and a local seamstress can help to make any final alterations to the gown.

HOW LONG IS THE PROCESS FROM START TO FINISH?

We recommend contacting us no later than 6 months before your wedding date, however we can make it work within 2 months where necessary. The process involves a series of 4 fittings minimum to fine tune style, fit and embellishment. After our first meeting, we create your bespoke pattern & toile. We then fit this mock up on you before starting to create the dress in your final chosen fabrics. Creating a bespoke dress in the final fabrics can take up to 3 weeks of work in our studio before fittings and adjustments can be made, so the more time you can allow for the process the better!

ACCESSORIES

We offer a range of ready to wear veils and headpieces in our Honeymoon Collection, however if you had anything else in mind in terms of veils & accessories, we can create these for you as well. You do not need to have your wedding or bridesmaid dresses made by us in order for us to create your bespoke accessories so please do not hesitate to be in touch via email.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN COME TO MY FITTING?

Our beautiful Radlett based studio can accomodate you and up to 4 guests with a variety of refreshments offered to all. Please make sure your party are aware that these are design and collaboration meetings and therefore will take more time and one to one conversation with the bride than a normal dress fitting, so they need to have patience and a creative mindset on the day!

DO YOU HAVE A REFUND POLICY?

As our dresses are created as bespoke commissions for you, sadly no refunds can be offered. However payments are split into 3 invoices that are paid throughout the process, so you have peace of mind that if you change your mind at any point, you won't have paid the full amount. If you are ever unhappy with the direction the dress is taking then please always tell us at the fittings so that we have the opportunity to fix the problems and work towards creating the dress of your dreams.

CAN YOU REPURPOSE VINTAGE OR SECOND HAND WEDDING DRESSES?

We love to do this! If you have your mother's or grandmother's wedding dress that you have always dreamed of wearing or incorporating into your gown, then this is something we can help with. Even if you think it looks beyond repair by way of yellowed fabrics, rips, ill fitting etc then bring it to us and we will find a way to make it work!
