Olivia came to us with a clear vision in mind. She wanted elegant, simple and a dash of old Hollywood glamor to compliment her Cotswolds wedding...
After looking through her inspiration images and taking measurements, the mock up was created using calico. This was then fitted and adjustments were made to the corset and straps. Pockets were thrown in for good measure - a staple of the modern bride!
After fitting the final gown, we decided to switch the button closure for a zipper and false buttons for ease on the big day. The hem was marked and the corset was lowered slightly for a little more va va voom!
Olivia wowed in her 100% silk mikado dress at her beautiful Cotswolds wedding. In Olivia’s words, ‘My dress was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. So many people have complimented me, saying it’s the most beautiful wedding dress they’ve seen…’ We are so happy we could make Olivia’s dreams come true!
