Hannah wanted a gown that incorporated her mother's wedding dress, whilst still bringing a modern and elegant twist to the design...

Hannah was unsure of what neckline she wanted for her dress when she came to us, so we were able to mock up two seperate bodices for her to try on. She settled on a gorgeous square neckline that was more modest than the plunging line, but showed off her figure perfectly. A large bow was created and pinned on different areas of the back of the dress so that we could decide where it was best placed.

After fitting the mock up, it was decided that we would make a concealed longline corset inside Hannah's dress to enhance her curves and give her support on the day, meaning that there was no need for her to wear a bra. The bow became bigger and was placed at the back waist to give dramatic volume and a gorgeous open back.

After creating Hannah's final dress in 100% double sided silk, her and her Mother decided that the sleeves she thought she was in love with were not exactly what she wanted. She had always dreamed of incorporating her mum's delicate vintage lace sleeves into her own dress and now was the perfect opportunity to try this out. The lace was carefully unpicked from her Mother's dress, cleaned thoroughly and ended up being a perfect match to the silk we had used.

Hannah and Teddy had a stunning Autumnal wedding in a a Suffolk barn by the sea. Everything was hand created, from the florals to the table layout. Her gorgeous dog Basil was even the ring bearer!
